The Nativity

The Holy Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, as told in Luke 2. Christ lies wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, born of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Virgin Mary, the Theotokos. The angels sing from above as shepherds draw near. The three wise men approach, guided by an angel, offering gold, frankincense, and myrrh. This divine birth marks the beginning of our salvation, the eternal Word made flesh.
