30 Martrys

On April 15th, 2015, 30 Ethiopians and Eritreans were martyred by the Libyan ISIS members for their faith in Christ. As St. Ambrose of Milan similarly said, just as our Lord conquered death by His Resurrection, these martyrs also conquered death by remaining faithful until the end, proving that death holds no power over those who are united to Him. May their prayers be with us, and may their witness strengthen our own faith.
